Tricept

T x F Series

Composition

The Loxin Machining centres integrate the Parallel Kinematic Module "Tricept" as it main component.

The “Tricept” Gimbal-support is located in a massive structure in order to withstand the static and dynamic requirements produced during the most demanding production processes.

The module structure is designed on a modular basis so as to be able to use the same components (Side columns, “Tricept” support) for different Tricept orientations on the machining module.

They are built on strongly ribbed steel structures filled with special chemical cement which offers the following great advantages:

  • Heavy weight to support extreme heavy axial and twisting forces.
  • Heavy inertial moment necessary to supportthe high accelerations produced by the“Tricept”.
  • High vibration absorption factor.
  • Easy retrofitting to other orientations

Acceibility to hidden Areas

The high flexibility of the Module and its spherical head (4 & 5th axes) allows excellent accessibility to the most hidden areas at very high speeds.

Dynamical Orbital Features

The interpolation of the linear actuators allows excellent dynamic features in boring and orbital operations. In these cases, combined movements between heavy structural parts of the machine (Columns, Rams, etc.) are not required.
